Product Description
The Combat Anterior Cervical Plate System is designed to stabilise the cervical spine via an anterior approach in patients requiring surgical intervention for conditions such as degenerative disc disease, trauma, tumours, spinal deformities, pseudarthrosis, or failed previous fusions.
This system includes anatomically shaped cervical plates, locking caps, and a full range of bone screws, all manufactured from high-strength titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V). The construct is secured to the vertebral bodies using self-tapping or self-drilling screws inserted through an anterior approach. Both fixed-angle and variable-angle screw options are available, allowing surgeons versatility in adapting to patient anatomy and surgical goals.
The plates feature a pre-lordosed profile designed to follow natural cervical curvature, supporting alignment and stability. Integrated mechanisms—including temporary fixation options and an efficient locking system—assist in secure implant placement and help maintain construct integrity throughout the fusion process.
The Combat system is supported by a streamlined set of specialized instruments engineered to simplify workflow, reduce retraction requirements, and enhance intraoperative efficiency. Together, these features provide a dependable solution for anterior cervical stabilization across a wide range of clinical indications.
System Components
Cervical Plates: Pre-lordosed to match the natural curvature of the cervical spine. Plates may be contoured further with the included Plate Bender if required.
Locking Caps: Single-Twist anti-migration caps retain screws securely within the plate.
